Earned his medical degree in Lima, Peru at School of Medicine “Alberto Hurtado” in 1988. In 1988, he also completed his Internship Rotations at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. He completed his Residency at Downstate Medical Center, Kings County Hospital in 1995. From 07/1995-06/1996, he was the Chief Resident in Pediatrics at Staten Island University Hospital. In 2002 he joined the Emergency Department at Staten Island University Hospital as a Pediatric Attending. His duties included teaching Medical Students, Pediatric Residents, and Emergency Medicine Residents.
In 2010 he joined a practice in Staten Island and stayed in that area until early 2015.
He is board certified in Pediatrics. He joined Passaic Pediatrics in 2015.
During his free time he enjoys going on vacation to Peru. He also enjoys Photography, Astronomy, and Art.
