Vanessa Montañez earned her Bachelor’s degree in Science of Nursing from Rutgers University graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2010. She worked as an obstetrics/gynecology nurse for two years and as a charge nurse before joining Passaic Pediatrics in January 2014. In 2013, she earned her Master’s degree at Rutgers University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Vanessa was born in Colombia. She speaks English and Spanish fluently. She enjoys dancing, playing volleyball, tennis, traveling and spending time with her loved ones. She truly believes that medicine is about being "devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor” (Romans 12:10).
